I would just like to take a few minutes to think about leaving feedback on ProBlogger because I had a lot of conversations with readers last week or so that had me wondering if we're all on the same page.
I'm beginning to see that there's a wide variety of forms blog readers interpret and use blog comments pages.
Which vary from utter misunderstanding about them to total harassment by instantly uploading thousands about self-serving and meaningless remarks with links to some pretty offensive pages.
There are several different solutions to reader comment along the continuum of dismissing criticism and spam. Per blogger has its own expectations on what's and is' Acceptable on their site – others require almost any message – some have vocabulary requirements, some don't accept signature connections, and so on. I'm perfectly comfortable with the diversity of comments strategies – so I want to relate to the writers of this article:
Comment Policy:

I don’t want readers of this blog to use it, but I don’t want to include and use the blog (that you spend daily) in ways that don't add value to it and to society. There's a fine line in the comments moderator - and I want to be clear about my opinion. I wish I didn't have a comment policy - but luckily it came here.
